Why Knoxville?

Training with Glenn Jacobs and Tom Prichard to get on the fast track to becoming a pro?  Sounds GREAT!  But... What if you're from out of town?  Believe it or not, out-of-towners actually have an advantage.  Training in a new town allows you to leave your distractions back home.  Your focus is on what you came for--to learn to be a professional wrestler.

And if you have to take a journey to make your dreams come true you couldn't do it in a better city than Knoxville.  Here are some reasons why...

TRAVEL
McGhee-Tyson airport makes travel to and from Knoxville easy and affordable.  We have many budget airlines offering cheap flights to/from Las Vegas, Orlando, Charlotte, Atlanta, and many other destinations.  Knoxville is an easy drive as well as having a bus station.

LIVING
Knoxville is a major college town.  We are the home of the University of Tennessee and the Vols.  Because of this we have tons of apartments of all types.  Posh waterfronts or economical studios/efficiencies.  Because of the nature of our college town it is easy to find a place with a short-term lease.

JOBS
We have a booming economy and plenty of "Help Wanted" signs on every block.  If your plan for training involves picking up a part time job you won't have trouble finding one here.  Again, being a college town means that most employers are already used to offering light/flex schedules.

CULTURE
Knoxville is famous for being a melting pot of culture.  When you're not in the ring you don't have to go far to find rich experiences: Live music, comedy, theater, food, nature, nightlife... We've got it in Knoxville.

So if you're at a distance but the ring is still calling your name, let's talk.  It makes sense to look at applying to train with JPWA.  It stands a great chance of being one of the greatest adventures you've ever dreamed of.

What Our Graduates Are Saying...

"Amazing wrestling school.  Without a doubt the best spot to hit for basics and foundation.  Huge fountain of wisdom and knowledge from Dr. Tom Prichard." - Noah Adams

"As a third generation Wrestler, there was only a small number of people my family would allow me to train under. Doc was at the top of the list.

Doc is, without a doubt, top 3 best minds in pro wrestling. I would argue number one, but he doesn't like being put over. This man's take on wrestling has opened my eyes to the possibilities that are out there in the business. He knows his art. He's the kind of coach I'd run through a wall for. 12 weeks in that "hot box" made me a better wrestler and a better man. If you show you care about this business and you're willing to do the work, Doc will do what he can to push you to be the best. All you have to do is listen and learn." - AJ Cazana

"Dr. Tom is the best trainer in the world. Getting to learn from him and Glenn has been by far the best experience of my life. Forever grateful for Dr. Tom and Glenn!" - Justin Savage
